Canto: enterprise digital asset management

Faculties, departments, and service units at Queen's can use Canto, our centralized digital asset management (DAM) tool, to manage assets related to marketing and communications. 

Our DAM tool can be used for:

  • organizing digital assets in a central location
  • automating workflows to enhance team efficiency and creativity
  • locating media files quickly using sophisticated search capabilities
  • managing press kits and picture collections
  • automating watermarking for images
  • managing permissions through extensive copyright functionality
  • tagging images both automatically and manually
  • identifying people through its facial recognition features

Image Bank

Queen's "Image Bank," managed by the University Relations team, is a selection of images in our digital asset management system that are made available to anyone with a Net ID with employee affiliation (faculty, staff,and student's who are also staff).

Use the Image Bank to search, download, preview, and share digital assets for your marketing and communication projects.
