New Student Welcome Receptions on September 26
On September 26th, the School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs hosted two new student welcome receptions, an opportunity for students to meet and mingle. Receptions were split by programs, with the first being for students in the arts and humanities, and the second being for students in STEM. With live music and food, students were able to meet others from across the university and start making those all-important connections that make grad school so special.
Students also heard from Vice-Provost and Dean of the SGSPA Fahim Quadir, as well as Vice-Provost and Dean of Student Affairs Ann Tierney about the university’s commitment to their success as graduate students.
