We are all done with Heat 3 of this year’s 3MT competition!
After three days of awesome presentations, we are finished with the Heats for this year’s competition. Thank you to the students who had the courage to share their research, and to everyone that came out to support our students during the Heats.
Here are the results for this Heat:
Third Place goes to Peter Sproule from Art History! Peter’s research looks at fashion culture in post-WWII Germany, and explores novel concepts of masculine fashion in a nation that is trying to distance itself from its past.
Second place goes to Tanvi Nandani from Biomedical Informatics! Tanvi shared how her research will help clinicians and researchers across Canada access data relating to Pulmonary Hypertension, improving patient outcomes.
First place goes to Logan Germain from Biomedical & Molecular Sciences! Logan’s research was on “forever chemicals” and how those chemicals can change disease outcomes from very early ages.
With the Heats finished, all that remains is the Finals! We will see you on Wednesday, March 26 in Kinesiology 101, 5PM start!
