Don’t Let Winter Freeze Your Spirit: Stay Active and Conquer the Cold in Kingston

Winter in Kingston doesn’t have to be a time for hibernation.  Whether you’re new to Canada or simply seeking ways to stay motivated, there are plenty of exciting activities, both indoors and outdoors, to keep you healthy, connected, and mentally refreshed. In this post, the final entry in my series to support graduate students, I share some ideas for activities you can explore during the winter semester in Kingston.

Kingston Sports and Social Club (KSSC)

KSSC is off-campus and allows you to sign up to play different types of sports with no expectation of being an expert. You can either sign up individually or form a team and register together. KSSC will schedule games against other teams, making for a fun and social sporting experience. This includes basketball, curling, dodgeball, floor hockey, soccer, softball, and volleyball.

If you want to recharge in a playful atmosphere, these spots offer everything from laser tag to puzzles and arcades.
