A summary of the changes that will be made to the WebPublish Academia, Basic, and Custom services on February 28, 2023.
As a reminder, site owners in the Custom service level are encouraged to review the impact of these changes on their site by reviewing it in the Preview environment. You can access the preview version of your site after February 21, at https://wp3-prev.its.queensu.ca/prev_[pubID] (without the square brackets).
New People Directory Features
- Addition of a People Directory paragraph, which allows you to feature a person on a page.
- Addition of a grid view of the People Directory (accessed at /people-grid), intended for smaller units that don't need a large table style listing of individuals.
- Addition of a file upload field in the People Directory content type, intended for uploading CVs.
Multi-Column Body Updates
- Addition of a Three Column Body paragraph.
- Two and Three Column Body paragraphs now have the ability to choose the justification of the title and body text (left, centre, right).
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Multi-factor authentication will be enabled for students, staff, and faculty the morning of March 1. WebPublish will prompt for MFA every 30 days, similar to other MFA-enabled services at Queen's.
- If you experience any difficulty using MFA, please contact the IT Support Centre at x36666 or by submitting an incident.
Other Updates
- Taxonomy vocabulary have been renamed for clarity.
- A page documenting the optimal image sizes for all paragraphs and content types has been created.
- News Feed paragraph published date is now prefixed with "Date Published:".
- Duo Queen's colours bar found below footer is now available on Custom sites.
