Named General Bursaries

If you are selected to receive a General Bursary the name of your bursary may be amended to a named general bursary.

  • Only the name of your award will change; the value of your General Bursary assistance will not change depending on the name of the award

Eligible students will also be considered for named general bursaries open to students in any faculty or school.

Muriel Driver Memorial Bursary

Awarded on the basis of financial need to a student in the Occupational Therapy program in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy.

Rehab Society Alumni Bursary

Established by the Rehab Therapy Society in 1982 and awarded on the basis of financial need to students enrolled in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy.

Rehabilitation Therapy Class of 1970 Bursary

Established in May 2007 by members of the Rehabilitation Therapy Class of 1970 in honour of their 35th Reunion and awarded on the basis of financial need to students in the second year of the M.Sc.OT and M.Sc.PT program in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, School of Graduate Studies and Research. Open to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents.

School of Rehabilitation Therapy Bursary

Established in May 2007 and revised in November 2015 by members of the Rehabilitation Therapy Class of 1970 in honour of their 35th Reunion. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in the second year of the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy and the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree programs in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, School of Graduate Studies and Research.

School of Rehabilitation Therapy Graduate Bursary

Established in January 2020 by the School of Rehabilitation Therapy to receive gifts in support of bursary assistance from alumni, friends and staff of Queen's University. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in any year of any graduate degree or graduate diploma program offered by the School of Rehabilitation Therapy.
