Established in March 2012 by Seymour Schulich and last revised in March 2021. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence, leadership, charisma, and creativity to entrepreneurial-minded students entering first year of Schulich eligible Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics degree programs (STEM) at Queen’s University. Strong consideration will be given to students with demonstrated financial need. The award is renewable for three years provided the student maintains full time enrolment status in an eligible STEM degree plan. Applications are submitted according to the process defined by UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.

High schools are permitted to nominate one Schulich Leader nominee (CEGEPS may nominate up to four students each).
Deadline
- High school nominations must be submitted by January 29, 2025
- Schulich Leader nominees must submit their application by February 19, 2025
- Queen’s to review applications: March 7 - June 16, 2025
