About

I am a PhD candidate working under the supervision of Dr. Rosanne Currarino. Broadly speaking my research interests include US intellectual, political, and cultural history in the 20th century with a particular focus on the histories of feminism and women’s organizing. My dissertation explores the intellectual life and legacy of the elusive feminist community of the Heterodoxy Club (1912 – 1940) in Greenwich Village and its role in the articulation of, as they termed it, a “new attitude of mind” called Feminism.
