About

I am a second year Ph.D. student studying under the supervision of Dr. Awet Weldemichael. My research project focuses on African tourism, politics, identity and culture by exploring the role of African tourists in shaping Tanzanian nationhood and identity. I primarily focus on post-colonial African history and the global 1960s, with a particular interest for the era of decolonization and liberation movements.
