Martina Hardwick arrived at Queen’s in 1992 to do her PhD in History and somehow never left. Graduating with a PhD in History in 1998, the now Dr. Hardwick went on to teach courses in Canadian survey history, correspondence courses, the social history of 19th and 20th century Canada, and material culture’s uses in history. The latter is a continuation of her interest in Public History, in which she holds a Master’s degree from Western University.
