Congratulations to Dr. Amitava Chowdhury on his exciting new appointment! The Department of History's Chair of Undergraduate Studies and an Associate Professor, Dr. Chowdhury has now also joined the Faculty of Arts and Science as Special Advisor to the Dean on Global and Decolonization Initiatives. In this important leadership role, Dr. Chowdhury will investigate and advise on global and decolonization initiatives to ensure they are in accordance with the Faculty's Strategic Plan.
