Please join Dr. Eric Fillion (Buchanan Postdoctoral Fellow in Canadian History) for the launch of his new book, Distant Stage: Quebec, Brazil, and the Making of Canada's Cultural Diplomacy (McGill-Queen's University Press, 2022), on Thursday, February 9 at the Broom Factory (305 Rideau Street, Kingston ON) at 5:30 pm. 

Distant Stage "examines the neglected histories of Canada-Brazil relations and the role played by culture in Canada's pursuit of an international identity" (McGill-Queen's Press). 

Copies of Distant Stage will be available for purchase. 

Refreshments will be served.
