I graduated as a Queen's Dual-Degree in History and Commerce. I profoundly enjoyed my time studying in the department - particularly under Professors Robert Malcolmson (will never forget my first year survey course) and Professor Jeffrey Collins - a professor I've spoken about to many.
Today, I'm a Senior Vice President at Greystone Managed Investments - a $33 billion investment fund responsible for overall strategy, growth and US expansion. Previously, I was General Manager of Global Strategy for Aimia (Aeroplan's Parent Company), the Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company - a Management Consultancy and Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley.
I also serve as a Board Member of Toronto Community Housing Corporation - landlord for 120,000 Torontonians living in 2,100 buildings where I chair of the Building, Investment, Finance and Audit Committee and its five subcommittees - responsible for the operating and capital budgets as well as over 10 major revitalizations (redevelopments of neighbourhoods in Toronto).
I've also served as Member of the Board of Trustees of Queen's University for the past 5 years and am Vice Chair of the Capital Asset and Finance Committee, responsible for the operating and capital budgets of Queen's. I'm also a member of the Investment Committee, overseeing $1.2 billion of endowment and investment funds and a University Councillor. Lastly, I serve as a member of the Board of Directors and as President-Elect of the Empire Club of Canada, Canada's oldest podium of record, founded in 1903.
