Following my graduation from Queen's, I completed a Master of Philosophy degree in European Studies from the University of Cambridge (1998). My dissertation concerned the experience of Philippe Egalite in the National Convention, 1792-73. I then returned to Queen's and completed my Bachelor of Education (1999).
I became a high school history teacher, working for three years in Ontario until my wife Kimberly and I joined an International School in Saudi Arabia in 2002. We have worked here ever since and both of our daughters were born here. In 2009, I became Vice Principal of the high school, allowing me to apply everything I learned about the Revolutionary Tribunal while at Queen's!
