2SLGBTQI+ Information:

Foreign laws and customs related to sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics can be very different from those in Canada. As a result, you could face certain barriers and risks when you travel outside Canada. In some countries sexual acts or relationships between people of the same sex is illegal and may carry severe penalties, including the death penalty. 2SLGBTQI+ people should carefully consider the risks of travelling in these circumstances.
