Third Party Auto Insurance Requirements

The university non-owned automobile insurer requires all bus charter companies providing transportation for university-sanctioned travel must provide evidence of the following insurance coverage in place:

1. Certificate of Insurance demonstrating Third Party Liability and Passenger Hazard Limits of a minimum of $10 Million primary coverage. 
2. Certificate of Insurance demonstrating Third Party Liability Limits of $10 Million per Occurrence Commercial General Liability. Queen's University at Kingston to be added as an additional insured.

The university non-owned automobile insurer requires individuals who choose to drive their own vehicle on university business must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 third party liability insurance. It is recommended that higher limits be considered. Please contact a licensed insurance broker or insurer for options.
