Topic: James Fraser, 2015 recipient of the Chancellor A Baille Teaching Award, implemented various peer-assisted learning techniques in his undergraduate classes with great success (and also some failure). In this workshop, James will demonstrate techniques using traditional tools such as flashcards, and he’ll also show us some of the pedagogy that is possible when we harness the technology that students have in their pockets. Bring along your web-enabled device for a hands-on experience with Learning Catalytics.
