Introducing the new Ellis Hall Active Learning Spaces
Effective January 2014, 3 new active learning classrooms will be in place in Ellis Hall. Construction is taking place this summer and fall. The classrooms are designed to encourage different types of learning and each has varying levels of technology.
The Centre for Teaching and Learning, Information Technology Services, the Office of the University Registrar, the University Timetable Committee and the Teaching Space Committee are collaborating on the development of instructional and technology support and processes for prioritization and scheduling. As part of the pilot project on flexible spaces at Queen’s we will be conducting a program evaluation on the types of usage of the rooms.
