In Queen’s Computing, you have options. The school offers a diverse array of specialized programs such as Software Design and Game Development, Computing and the Creative Arts, Data Analytics, Cognitive Science, Biomedical Computing, Computer Science, and Computing and Mathematics. As a Queen’s Computing student you’ll also:
- work on cutting-edge research projects in one of our 22 labs with award-winning research teams.
- gain work experience through our 12-16 month paid Internship Program.
- participate in or attend numerous annual hackathons, conferences, workshops, and networking events such as QHacks and CAN-CWiC.
- present your course projects to the public at the School of Computing's Annual Creative Computing Showcase.
- combine your computing courses with courses in multiple disciplines within the Faculty of Arts and Science. Our programs have up to 48 elective units that can be used towards a minor.
- get involved in our computing student-led organizations and clubs such as Computing Students' Association (COMPSA), Queen's Women in Computing (QWIC), or help to organize our unique computing students’ Orientation Week.
