The Headship position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Stephen J.R. Smith Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science is open. In accordance with Article 41 of the Collective Agreement between Queen’s University Faculty Association and Queen’s University, a selection committee has been formed to assist Provost and Vice Principal (Academic) Matthew Evans, in the selection of a new Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Members of the university community are invited to comment on the present state and future prospects of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and to submit names of possible candidates (including self nominations) for the headship to the Committee Chair, Dr. Amir Fam, Vice-Dean (Research), c/o Jacqueline Hill (jlh15@queensu.ca), Stephen J.R. Smith Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science by Monday January 13th, 2025. All letters will be reviewed by the selection committee and will become a part of the record of decision making.
