These Research programs offer rare opportunities for undergraduate students to conduct research internationally. If you are considering graduate school these programs are excellent ways to differentiate your resume and help you develop international research connections. These research opportunities are largely but not exclusively for students in the fields of science or health science.
OBW Summer Research Program
The Ontario/Baden-Württemberg (OBW) Summer Research Program (SRP) is open to students in science and health science disciplines. Each successful applicant will spend either 2 or 3 summer months at a university in Baden-Württemberg (southwest Germany) engaged in research projects relevant to their studies.
ORA Summer Research Program
The Ontario/Rhône-Alpes (ORA) Summer Research Program (SRP) is open to students in science and health science disciplines. Each successful applicant will spend either 2 or 3 summer months at a university in Rhône-Alpes (southeast France) engaged in research projects relevant to their studies.
Mitacs Globalink
Globalink initiatives offer two-way mobility between Canada and Mitacs partner countries including Brazil, France, India, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, and UK.
RISE-Globalink Research Internship
This is a competitive initiative that offers undergraduate students in the fields of biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, earth science, and physics the opportunity to participate in a research project supervised by a doctoral student at a German university or institution.
