Global Affairs and the Chinese Ministry of Education offer short-term scholarships to Canadians wishing to study abroad in China. Scholarships are awarded for studies, research, language studies or a combination of studies and language studies at participating Chinese institutions.

- Funding Organisation: Global Affairs Canada and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
- Number of Scholarships: Over 20.
- Program Duration: 4-12 months for students.
- Benefits: Airfare, tuition (non-Queen's), on-campus accommodation, health insurance, monthly living stipend (typically 2,500 yuan per month).
