We will be giving away twenty students tickets to see Israel Fernández and Diego del Morao at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts on Thursday, November 9th. Please note - you must be a student to enter this contest.
There will be ten winners, each receiving two tickets. You have until Monday, November 6th at 11:59pm to enter, and the draw will take place on Tuesday, November 7th at 9am. Tickets can be collected at the conference welcome event (Thursday, November 9th, 10am).
"Israel Fernández is one of the leading voices of a new generation of flamenco cantaors, drawing from the deep well of flamenco to captivate new audiences with its timeless power. Born into a Roma family in Corral de Almaguer (Toledo), he infuses traditional flamenco singing with his own distinctive style.
Diego del Morao is one of the most internationally recognized flamenco guitarists. Lauded by virtuoso flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia, del Morao has a legion of followers who love his personality and passionate sense of rhythm. He has created his own music and style without losing respect for the tradition of his roots."
