For consistency, Queen's University job titles should follow a standard format. Some job titles require the name of the faculty, school, or department to qualify the title. When this is the case, the title and qualifying department should be separated by a comma when on the same line:
• Vice-Principal, Global Engagement
• Associate Vice-Principal, Integrated Communications
• Provost and Vice-Principal, Academic
• Dean, Faculty of Arts and Science
When titles are formatted on multiple lines, the comma can be removed:
Vice-Principal
University Relations
Titles should not include abbreviations, ampersands, or brackets.
