What do Timbits have in common with subatomic particles? How could using gold make your medicine less expensive? How is Queen's research helping to make our bridges and buildings last longer?

Queen's award-winning researchers, Nobel Prize-winner Dr. Art McDonald, LLD'17, and Dr. Cathleen Crudden, demystified the science and made ground-breaking research accessible to everyone at the launch of Queen’s Faculty of Arts and Science’s new initiative, Elevate Artsci, in Waterloo on March 28, 2023.

Moderated by Mike Farwell of The Mike Farwell Show with Rogers Radio, this event took place at ApplyBoard's head office and included an evening of networking, refreshments, and an engaging ‘TED-talk style’ lecture showcasing some of Arts and Science’s ground-breaking and award-winning research.
