I-EDIAA Practitioners Group

Terms of Reference

Purpose

The Indigenization - Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Anti-Racism (I-EDIAA) Practitioners Group is an informal community of practice whose aim is to create a space for sharing initiatives, information, and resources. The I-EDIAA Practitioners Group fosters collaboration between practitioners on campus, promotes best practices, and builds capacity in I-EDIAA principles.

 

Objectives

  1. Foster collaboration between employees tasked with I-EDIAA work in their professional role.

  1. Share and strengthen knowledge, initiatives, and university strategy related to I-EDIAA.

  1. Report initiatives to the Office of the Vice-Principal (Culture, Equity, and Inclusion).

 

Membership and Structure

Membership is open to Queen’s staff and faculty holding an I-EDIAA function in their professional capacity. The Office of the Vice-Principal (Culture, Equity, and Inclusion) will fulfil the logistical coordination of the I-EDIAA Practitioners Group meetings and activities. Group members are expected to keep track and report I-EDIAA related initiatives to share with the group at quarterly meetings. Each quarterly meeting will be an hour and a half in length.
