Office of Risk & Safety HomeOn November 1st, Queen's Campus Security and Emergency Services sent an alert via the SeQure app push notification platform. We received many reports of people not receiving the notification. This resulted in discussions with the service provider. We learned that the software was updated to allow app users determine what areas you wanted to receive notifications for, however this update was not well communicated to the end user.
Users will need to "leave the campus" they have selected. Then on the main page of the app, users will find a button for "Campus Alert Settings". On the page located within, users can select their notification locations.
