Be prepared to apply as soon as you can. We will assess your application for an offer of admission after you apply, and as we receive new academic information.
Review the admission requirements for each Queen’s program to which you wish to apply. Ensure you are registered in the correct high school courses to satisfy the requirements.
Ensure that all information you supply on your application is correct and up-to-date. Double-check the email address you use, as this will be how we communicate with you.
Regularly review your To-Do List in SOLUS. Submit any Supplementary Information Queen’s requests on time.
Keep your Queen’s NetID, and your OUAC username, password, and Reference Number confidential and secure. Notify OUAC immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of this information.
Keep your personal and contact information up-to-date in your application. Any changes should be communicated to OUAC.
If your high school reports your academic information to OUAC, check the accuracy of your information on the OUAC website. If there are any inconsistencies, contact your guidance counsellor as soon as possible. We will use the academic information reported on OUAC when assessing your application.
Submit new academic information as it becomes available.
Receiving and accepting your offer of admission
Take the time to understand any offer conditions in your offer of admission email.
Accept your offer of admission by the deadline noted in your offer of admission email.
Satisfying the conditions on your offer of admission
Satisfy any conditions on your offer of admission by the due date in your offer email.
Review your final grades on your transcript or the OUAC website. Contact your guidance counsellor and Queen’s Undergraduate Admission immediately if your academic data is inaccurate. We will use the information we have to determine if you meet the conditions on your offer. If you do not meet the conditions, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing admresp@queensu.ca
