Robert Sutherland Hall Room 202Well-managed research data is an international best practice and contributes to the reach and impact of research. Data management plans (DMPs) and data deposit are also increasingly required for funding applications or journal submissions. Queen’s has recently created an Institutional Research Data Management Strategy in response to the Tri-Agency’s RDM Policy released in March 2021. To support researchers in RDM best practices, the Library has an RDM Guide and also provides one-on-one or group consultations. This session will be led by the Data Services Coordinator at Queen’s Library, Alexandra Cooper, and cover key concepts and practices within RDM with the goal of familiarizing participants with what RDM is, what practices are encouraged or required within the institution and by the Tri-Council, and more.
