Zsuzsa Csergő and Olga Talal opened the Department of Political Studies 2022 Fall Colloquium Speaker Series at Queen's University with a presentation of the Minority Institutions Index initial data and findings.
The new dataset provides a useful resource for studying modes of minority organization and mobilization in Central and Eastern Europe. The initial data, collected through fieldwork funded by a by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie research fellowship, covers a selection of minority groups across eight countries of Central and Eastern Europe with an objective to collect and expand the dataset across more communities and countries in the region.
The data will be made publicly available via the Minority Institutions Index website hosted at Queen's University.
