Last week, Dr. Carlos Escobedo was invited to deliver two lectures on Fluid Transport in Micro- and Nanotechnology at Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico) campus Queretaro. During his visit, he engaged with professors and directors of Tec through presentations of Queen’s University with emphasis on Smith Engineering programs, and our current participation as part of the consortium of Canadian universities CALDO.
Dr. Escobedo, together with his host, Dr. Carlos Vargas, presented a pilot program proposal that will allow 7th-semester undergraduate students from Tec to engage in research at Queen’s University in 2025. The program is expected to grow in the following years.
