*The submission portal will open in January 2025.*
The deadline to submit your proposal is Friday, February 7, 2025 at 4:00 PM EST.
To submit a proposal for a presentation, poster, performance, panel, or other event format idea, register for an account with the I@Q online journal. You will be required to provide your name, department (affiliation), and Queen's email.
Once registered and logged in, you can access the online submission form by selecting About >> Submission >> Make a new submission on the Submissions page. Please make sure to:
- Select the appropriate submission form (e.g., Paper Presentation, Poster, Performance, Panel, New Format Suggestion).
- Include the course name and faculty supporter for your project under “Comments for the Editor."
- Describe a New Format Suggestion under “Comments for the Editor" to suggest a new event idea or to propose an art installation (details below).
- Attach your proposal as a Word document using "Upload Submission" (maximum of 250 words, excluding references).
- Include all co-authors as contributors by selecting "Add Contributor."
Papers, presentations, and posters will be included in the I@Q conference proceedings. We will contact you prior to the conference to ensure that all documents have been received. This journal is open access and will serve as a record of all contributions to the Inquiry@Queen's Undergraduate Research Conference. You can refer to it on your résumé and it can be cited by other researchers.
A research paper presentation should be around 10 minutes in length, excluding questions. All presentations will be followed by a short question and answer period.
