Would you like to share your lived experience voice with community research projects to help improve the health and wellbeing of people and families in the Kingston region?
I-CREAte is recruiting community members who are interested in learning about, and actively participating in, research projects as a ‘Community Researcher’. Community Researchers do not need any research experience. Community researchers are provided with training needed to participate equally on the I-CREAte team. The research team will work together to make sure that everyone is able to fully participate.
As a Community Researcher you would be committing to:
• Attending bi-weekly meetings
• Learning about community-based research
• Participating until the end of a particular project, and ideally as a core member of the I-CREAte team helping to identify future projects and overall direction of the group.
Hear what it means to be a Community Researcher from current Community Researchers in this video. If you want to learn more about becoming a Community Researcher, please review the role description or, contact us
