Melanie (she/her) is a white settler whose doctoral research advances inclusive sexual and reproductive health for equity-deserving people. She holds a Master of Arts in Gender and Social Justice from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery from Laurentian University. Melanie is also a co-founder of Returning Care and Health Home: An Indigenous Health Commitment (RCHH), a group striving to bring birth home for Indigenous Peoples
