Description:

Albert Street Residence Seeks Indigenous Name

The university is in the process of selecting a permanent name for the new Albert Street Residence that opened in September. The name sought will reflect the purpose, function, and nature of the building as a residence and will be in an Indigenous language. To date, themes under consideration to explore further for a name include, Community, Belonging, Welcoming, Unity and Home. 

All-students welcome, please join us and ResSoc on Monday November 14 from 5:30 – 6:45pm in the Albert Street Residence main floor study room.

Anyone who has feedback that will not be able to attend the focus groups are invited to submit ideas via email to 18al29@queensu.ca.

Description:

Albert Street Residence Seeks Indigenous Name

The university is in the process of selecting a permanent name for the new Albert Street Residence that opened in September. Indigenous-identifying students, please join our focus group on Monday November 7 from 3-4pm at 4 Directions located at 144 Barrie Street.

All-students, please join us and ResSoc on Monday November 14 from 5:30 – 6:45pm in the Albert Street Residence main floor study room.
