Donor Story:
Vic Freidin's legal career included practice in both the public and private sector. He worked in areas of environmental law, construction lien law, forestry law, and civil litigation. Throughout his career he gave freely of his time, often without remuneration, to people and causes that were important to him. He was committed to the Class of '71 and voluntarily assumed the position of social convener ensuring that a reunion took place every five years. This fund recognizes his contributions, both personally and professionally.
About Your Fund:
Established in September 2017 by the Class of Law 1971 in memory of Victor Freidin, LLB 1971. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic achievement and demonstrated interest in advocacy to students in any year of the J.D. or combined J.D. program in the Faculty of Law.
