Donor Story:
Shane Daniel Klein, a graduate from Queen’s School of Medicine in 2015, embodied the following attributes:
(i) kind, inquisitive nature
(ii) quiet strength
(iii) involvement in serving the people of Kingston
(iv) Selfless dedication to patient care and a gentle bedside manner
To honour Shane’s memory, the family wishes to create an award for a graduating student from the 4th year medical school class with a strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in pursuing a family medicine residency in Kingston.
Fund Description:
Established in memory of Shane Klein, MD'15. Awarded to medical students who will be entering a residency program in Family Medicine, with preference to students entering the Family Medicine residency program at Queen's University.
