Donor Story:
I contributed to CFRC as a student on my way to a broadcasting career. I would like to encourage the public affairs and journalistic side of reporting, which I feel has been heavily diminished in broadcasting. I am also an advocate for community media, which needs more support.
Fund Description:
The Robert H. Black Documentary Residency Program Fund was established to support the new Robert H. Black Documentary Residency Program in the Department of Film and Media that will allow emerging journalists and broadcasters to develop their skills and careers by providing them with financial and infrastructure support for practicing advanced journalism and audio production techniques at CFRC Radio.
