Ratehub.ca is Canada’s leading online financial comparison platform. We are a Toronto and Kingston-based company, co-founded in 2010 by BCom’07 graduates Alyssa Furtado and James Laird. Ratehub.ca's web development team operates in Kingston, Ontario, and is an active member of the local business and technology community. We are dedicated to making Kingston a leader and hub for technology and innovation. This award is designed to recognize emerging talent in computer science and web development from Kingston, Ontario.
About the Fund:
Established in October 2017 by Ratehub.ca. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to second, third or fourth year students enrolled in a Bachelor of Computing Science (Honours) degree program in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Preference will be given in the following order of priority: (1) to students with an academic plan in Software Design, (2) to students whose address on admission is the city of Kingston, or Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, or Leeds and Grenville counties. Applications are to be made to the Office of the University Registrar, Student Awards by 31 October.
