My wife and I established this fund to celebrate and share our commitment to the future of students participating in Gaels Football at Queen’s University. We want the recipients of our award to realize that with commitment and hard work, one can achieve unimaginable goals in sport and other aspects of their life. As a former Gael myself, I can attest that there is nothing more fulfilling than being part of and contributing to the success of a team regardless of one’s role.

Fund Description:
Established in September 2018 by Donald Rasmussen, LLB 1965, and Kersti Rasmussen, B.A. 1964. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement and athletic excellence to student-athletes in any degree program at Queen's University and who are on the competition roster of a Gaels interuniversity football team.
