The Madison Crich Memorial Award

Donor Story

Madison Anne Crich was born September 28, 1990.  She was raised in Osgoode, a small village near Ottawa, Ontario, a rural setting that contributed to her love of animals and country music. Madison’s passion for horses was clear.  She pursued her passion as a competitive dressage rider with the Ottawa Area Dressage Group and actively participated with the Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa-Carleton (TROtt).  Her passion for law germinated during her undergrad at Carleton University and began to blossom during her first year at Queen’s.  She had an infectious spirit that inspired those around her to pursue their studies as vigorously as she did.  She was driven to represent the law as a Crown Attorney in the criminal field. Unfortunately she was not able to fulfill her dreams.

This Fund, which recognizes academic achievement, combined with contribution to others embodies the spirit of Madison - driven to make a difference but living by the values that make our world a better place.
