The Kouri Achievement Award

Donor Story:

Jill, Stephen and their sons Eric and Adam Kouri established The Kouri Achievement Award to provide financial assistance to high achieving students entering their first year of Queen’s Commerce at the Smith School of Business.

Jill, BCom ’84 and Eric, BCom ’17 are both graduates of the Queen’s Commerce program. Stephen also attended Queen’s, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours. Although Adam, did not attend Queen’s, he understands our commitment and is fully supportive of this award. We all benefitted from an excellent academic experience at Queen’s and were well prepared for life after university.  While at Queen’s, we were actively engaged in extracurricular activities and the dynamic Queen’s student community.   This community lives on in our lives today, as we enjoy many lasting friendships that began at Queen’s.

We hope the recipients of this award will take full advantage of the academic and extracurricular activities that the Smith School of Business offers and enjoy the experience as much as we did.
