I have two main reasons for supporting Queen's students through this scholarship. The first is that my son, Robert, had an enjoyable and fulfilling experience as a student at Queen's, graduating with a BCom in 2000. Second, as an immigrant I have an interest in helping young people to see the world they live in. Since I grew up in Germany and my son participated in an exchange to Kaiserslautern (Germany), I thought this would be a natural way to enhance the Queen's experience for today's students.
