The Commerce 2007 Award in memory of Darren James Bishop

Donor Story:

Established by the Class of 2007 leading up to their 10th reunion in memory of their classmate Darren James Bishop, a dear friend whose contagious smile and laugh is greatly missed by those lucky enough to have known him. Darren always felt that his education played the most pivotal role in letting him achieve his dream of becoming an entrepreneur. In addition to being athletically gifted (most notably in tennis, skiing, golf and hockey), Darren was a diligent academic achiever. He was fond of the outdoors and completed a commerce option in geography. Students entering first year of the Bachelor of Commerce degree program in the Smith School of Business that emulate the above characteristics for which Darren was best known for will be considered for the award.
