The Murrays established this Award to encourage students to pursue STEM studies, or, at least, include some significant study in the sciences in their pursuit of higher education.
About the Fund:
Established in May 2002 and revised in February 2018 by John Murray, B.Sc. 1963, Ph.D. 1967, and his wife, Elizabeth Murray. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students in second, third, or fourth year of a degree program in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Preference will be given to students in a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree program. Applications are to be made to the Office of the University Registrar, Student Awards by 31 October.
