Queen's Telefundraising Services (QTS) is made up of a team of 45 dynamic Queen’s students who connect with alumni and parents from the heart of campus. They share stories and information while promoting the opportunity to invest in our university. Morgan is one of many student callers who will be reaching out to over 50,000 Queen’s alumni starting this September.

What made you choose Queen’s?
I’m the 40th member of my mom’s family, over 5 generations, to go to Queen’s. Growing up, Queen’s was always talked about with such enthusiasm and pride. I wanted to go away to school and I couldn’t picture myself anywhere else. The gorgeous campus and great programs helped too.
What are you studying? Why?
I’m a Health Studies major and a Global Development minor. I know this might sound cheesy, but I want to make a difference in the world. I would travel the world and help people.
What is your favourite part about being a caller?
I love talking to alum. I think it’s really fascinating to hear all of their stories about their time at Queen’s and about what they ended up doing with their degrees.
What building or location at Queen’s is your favourite?
The Common Ground (CoGro) Coffee House in the new Queen’s Centre. It’s fully run by students and they have great food. The best London Fog in Kingston! There are always friends around but it is still quiet enough to be a good study spot.
What is the best story an alum has told you about?
I’ve worked as a student caller for 3 years now, so I have heard some pretty fabulous stories. One of my favourites was about an alumna who had lost touch with her close friends from Queen’s. They all planned to come back to campus for a homecoming reunion. She told me that the moment they got together at the beginning of the weekend, they all broke into tears; they were so overwhelmed and happy to be back together. It was such a touching story and I can’t wait to come back for homecoming reunions with my close friends.
