In the spring of 2015, the Class of MBA’16 embarked early on their Graduating Class Campaign. Led by Mr. Albert Oppenheimer, the class encouraged everyone to make a gift in support of the MBA Legacy Fund. This fund, first established through gifts made by the MBA Class of 2012, provides support for projects in the full-time MBA program at Queen’s School of Business.
Despite their own financial obligations, MBA’16 set an unprecedented example and achieved 100% student participation – and they did it in three weeks! This feat will undoubtedly inspire future classes looking to make an impact, and be recognized for years to come on the Goodes Hall Class Giving Wall.
“We, the MBA Class of 2016, have been known for our high level of participation and engagement even before joining QSB. We are elated to have reached our goal of 100% participation and hope that our accomplishment and legacy will inspire other classes, past and future, to commit to the pursuit of a similar achievement.
We will strive to be impactful contributors of knowledge and expertise to the organizations that hire us after the MBA, and we know that an intrinsic culture of contribution starts with our class gift and historic participation.
I am proud to be a member of the Class of 2016! Albert Oppenheimer, (MBA'16).”
