Geography & Planning Open House: A Focus on Field Work

The Department of Geography and Planning invites you share how field experiences shaped your time at Queen's and beyond! Come meet our faculty and students, and learn about some of the exciting field courses, equipment, and projects we offer to our students, including the new undergraduate field course; the Desert Ecology and Geography field trip, the School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP) India project, other field experiences, and courses.

This all-ages event invites alumni and their families to enjoy a chance to hear what's new with the department, connect, and network while enjoying light refreshments. Drop in on our focus on fieldwork open house at MacIntosh Corry Hall, E 208 (main floor).

Attendees are encouraged to make a donation to the Richard and Mildred Ruggles Fund for Enhanced Education in Geography. Your contribution will be used to enhance the field studies component of instruction or for the incorporation of the arts into geographic education at Queen's.  If you are unable to attend, you can still make a gift through the Richard and Mildred Ruggles Fund

Please register in advance.
