Get ready for a thrilling ride through Toronto’s history on our Tour de Toronto! This alumni bike tour offers the perfect mix of exploration, exercise, and connection.
Kick off the morning at 10 am at L'Espresso Bar Mercurio coffee shop, where you’ll enjoy complimentary coffee and tea before we hit the road. Led by Queen’s alum Albert Koehl, Law'84, a cycling history expert, you'll pedal through key stops along the city’s historic routes following the Bloor Bike Lane. Discover Toronto's 1896 cycling circuit, Dr. Doolittle’s role in early cycling advocacy, the long fight for Bloor bike lanes, and the rise of the local bicycle industry.
Feel the crisp November air as you ride the 16km route, and finish around noon at the Victory Café. Stick around to relax and keep the conversations going with your fellow alumni.
Family and friends are welcome, so bring your entire biking crew for this exciting blend of history, adventure, and fall fun!
