Join us for the Queen’s Micro Summit Series as we explore the role of AI in healthcare analytics and its potential to revolutionize the health industry, making care more efficient, personalized, and accessible for all.  

Engage with leading Queen’s researchers, industry experts, and students:  

  • Vedat Verter, Professor and Stephen J.R. Smith Chair of Management Analytics at Queen’s.  
  • Dr. Kerstin de Wit, Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Emergency Venous. Thromboembolism and Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Queen’s.  
  • Juggy Sihota, Senior Vice-President, Healthcare Excellence at TELUS Health.  
  • Milad Mirzaee, Student at Smith School of Business. 

Night 1: Hear from leading Queen’s researchers who are driving innovation during a TED Talk-style keynote.  

Night 2: Dive deeper into the possibilities of tomorrow during a fireside chat with Queen’s researchers, alumni, and students, all while immersing yourself in a multisensory experience.  

Event itinerary

April 23 (Night 1)

  • 5:30 pm: Registration and light refreshments.
  • 6–7 pm: TED-Talk-style keynote from leading Queen’s researchers.

Please note: There will be time near the end of the event to connect with fellow alumni.

April 24 (Night 2)

  • 5:30 pm: Registration opens. Enjoy a bite while networking.  
  • 6:30–8:30 pm: Fireside chat with Queen’s researchers, alumni, and students. 
  • 8:30–9:30 pm: Continuation of networking with fellow alumni.

About the venue  

The Kent features a state-of-the-art projection system that engages you thoroughly and captivates all your senses.  

Registration will launch on March 20, 2025.
